Finally Pecans

After years of growing, the trees are still small because they are the dwarf variety. They were planted almost 12 years ago. Finally, this year, little pecans decided to pop forth. Now they are decent size and starting to pop out of the shells. I've managed to grab a few dozen of the tasty treats before the squirrels take the remainder.

The grasshopper was sitting on my garage door frame and the little baby terrapin was out in front of the garage. See how small the baby is in comparison to a brick.

Beneath The Cedar

I spotted this lonely little flower peeping out from under the big cedar. It's softness and beauty catches my attention! I just had to take a snapshot of this. I think it is so beautiful.

Pecans

These trees were planted in my yard years ago, but this is the first year they have actually had pecans! It will not be long before they will be ready to pick and eat!
